What are the Teaching Boosters?
- Design and deliver successful, student-centred lessons.
- Observe your own and other teachers to improve in a holistic, judgment-free environment and give plan efficient and personal feedforward.

Moderated by International House
We have highly qualified, experienced tutors that will assist you with doubts and needs.
It is a course only offered by Authorised and well-established Teacher Education centres.
Boosters content and structure
There are 2 hours of tutor assistance per Booster (asynchronous & synchronous through Zoom)
You can take any Booster you want, in any order you prefer, remember these are independent.
It’s awarded by International House, meaning you can rely on the programme’s quality and accreditation.
Phonology
This programme is designed to work on segmental and suprasegmental aspects so you can improve your (or your learners’) understanding of phonological aspects that happen when speaking a second language. You will then practice and debate your findings.
PBL (Project Based Learning)
This programme is designed to work on your PBL skills on a down to earth level. Your objective will be to work on experimenting and redesigning to then, with peers, debate your findings and your newly found solutions.
Effective Planning
This programme is designed to work on lesson planning at a mastery level. Your objective will be to revisit fundamentals while reflecting, experimenting redesigning to then, with peers, debate your findings and your newly conceived solutions.
Modern Assestment
This programme is designed to work on evaluation as a parameter to improve and thus be able to provide effective and efficient feedforward and feedback to your learners so they may really learn how to learn.
Assessment
There is no formal assessment for this course. In order to gain a course certificate of completion, participants need to complete all activities.

Will the fact that I’ve taken any of the teaching boosters online appear on my certificate?
No. The Teaching Boosters lead to exactly the same certificate as the face-to-face programme. Assessed outcomes are the same for all teachers, so there is no need for a separate certification.
How to apply for ANY of the Teaching Boosters?
Entry requirements Ideally, candidates should have:
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- CEFR Level B1 or above
- Strong intrapersonal skills
- Experience in teaching and managing groups.
